It’s me, Nicole- and this is my cozy little corner of the internet. Who am I, you ask? I’m your official blanket gal, knitting every blanket with a lil’ love, and a lot of quirkiness. I'm a handmade enthusiast, a mom to two amazing kiddos, and the one-woman show behind Nicnakknits.

Nicnakknits is my heart and soul—and I give it my all every single day. As a small business owner, I wear all the hats, from maker to marketer, accountant to quality control. It's a wild ride, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Here are a few things to know about me:

• I’m a small biz supporter because no one knows better than I do, how important shopping small and local means to entrepreneurs and creators.

• I’m a mental health advocate and always will be. I create to support my mental health, and I hope that my creations help you relax, find calm, and give yourself the time you need, supporting your own.

• When I am not knitting away, you’ll find me on the hunt for another handcrafted mug to add to my collection. Because I am a firm believer that you can never have enough mugs. (fun fact: I’m not a coffee gal, but I do love a hot cup of tea)

• I am a fur mom to two amazing rescue pups, who keep me on my toes, but also bring me so much joy.

• While creating, you will often find some trash TV in the background. I can’t deny my love for something a little outrageous and a lot entertaining- if you know what I mean.

• Nicnakknits is a family affair. Between prepping yarn, sewing labels, and the consistent sweeping of fluff- My Grandma, Mom, two children and Husband are all involved in helping out (especially during busy season!).

It’s true what they say- every time you order from a small business, a happy dance ensues. I am always so very grateful for every order, every happy dance, and every chance I get to bring your family together with cozy cuddles and lasting memories.
